Toll House Pie

Apparently, my Aunt Sheri used to make Toll House Pie all the time when I was younger. Sadly I do not remember this pie. I had it this year on Christmas Eve and I loved it. As did the entire family! Even though, Aunt Sheri is the one who introduced our family to this recipe, Beth actually made this year's pies.

Beth said she used this recipe, but being my cousin, she made a few modifications to it!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted & slightly cooled
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Pie Crust

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Beat eggs until frothy. Add sugars and flour to the eggs and beat slightly. Add the butter and vanilla to the mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Pour into the unbaked pie crust.

Bake for 1 hour. Cool before serving. Enjoy!
